It is not the 70k of that plugin. It is the extra dependency on lesstif
they want to avoid. You wouldn't want to have to install lesstif just to
get a basic KDE program working, right?
Some people may want to use one KDE program, and don't need konqueror at
all, let alone its plug-ins.
Others would simply like KDE on their system, but not lesstif.
