Thanks, Eran!

As a service for the confused reader, who may wonder what's the big deal,
after all it was not a long time ago when Mandrake released their 8.0 and
Linus released 2.4.3 (the version included with 8.0), let me add the
following notes, about the large improvements of the latest AC of 2.4.4
over 2.4.3:

1. Much faster, thanks to a major optimization of the way fork-exec is
   implemented.
2. Networking is much faster too, thanks to the "zero-copy-networking".
3. Much safer, thanks to many security improvements that were done
originally by OpenWall for 2.2.19, and ported to 2.4.4.
4. Various add-ons for the kernel, that are applied as patches to a
specific kernel version (such as grsecurity), require 2.4.4.
5. Immediately after releasing 8.0, Mandrake started to consider to
include XFS in their standard kernel (there was not an official
version of XFS when 8.0 was released); There is a high chance to see
   XFS with the new kernel.

And if somebody still asks: "I don't see the problem; You can always
pick the latest kernel and build it under your OS!", then I must add
that Mandrake added zillion of useful additions, improvements, and
patches to the standard kernel, and by building a pure kernel, you give
them up.

So the only thing that left to be done, is to wait and see if the new
kernel was compiled with XFS or without it...
