Hello all,
I would like to remind and/or to describe the process of posting
to IGLU.

There 2 major kinds of posting - new posts and replies.
New posts are moderated - this means that new post will not
appear on the main page until the moderator approves this.

The moderator can decline the post silently, or he/she can
contact the author in case he/she thinks that author should
change something in his/her post. The moderator can spell-check
or format the post, but should not perform any other editing
without contacting the author.

Replies, on the other hand, are not moderated at all.

Currently there is no way for moderator to be notified of new
post that is pending for approval.

One of the consequences of abovementioned policy/bug is that it may
take a day for one of moderators to notice new posts.

Hence, posting urgent messages on the main page is risky - the moderator
can miss the post until its too late and post is not relevant anymore.

Having said all the above I hereby ask all of you to try and post your
news as soon as possible - and to take into account "moderation latency".

In case you fear that the post is important and you have no ways to
post it earlier ( take attached message for an example ), _do_ post
an alert on IGLU management list: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Regards,
  Omer Mussaev
