If you haven't read about it: connectix which has quite an expertise in
emulations, and has produced the longest living PC emulator for macs (maybe
not the best anyway...), is releasing in a couple of days VPC for PCs - it
enables you to duplicate hardware addresses such as BIOS in a virtual
environment allowing you to run linux and/or windows 2000/3.11/DOS (who
cares ?) each in its own VEnv on top of ME or 2000. Although the price on
macs is 70 $ for a PC DOS version, VPC for PCs will cost... 299 $. I suppose
the price tag will fall by the day.
