First of all, before you procede, upgrade the kernel to 2.2.19. This
will protect you from some remote vulnerabilities.
If the problem still persists after the update, it'll be a good idea to
search for "Re: hda: no DRQ after issuing WRITE", but not on 2.0.x" on
Google. For example, this is what I found:
