dear yotam,
as someone who has known "Mr. Keren" both online and offline for a long
time, i must say your flaming does him a grave injustice. "Mr Keren"
does help newbies and has helped them for a long time. Expecting a bare
minimum from a user, such as precise error messages (my personal pet
peeve) and a token attemt to solve (or at the very least, understand)
his problem, are NOT too much to ask. Is it not a rule of the cosmos
that users for ever will need LARTing? Or is it the nature of the LART
you object to?
In short, "Mr. Keren" has has put in (and continues to do so) much
effort for the linux community (just check out the LUPG, at
http://users.actcom.co.il/~choo/lupg/tutorials/index.html). I feel your
flammage was both in poor taste and uncalled for.
(And on a personal note, Fendor, Pot. Kettle. Black)
(come back to #iglu, we miss you)
