Hi people,

While I was organizing things on my computers at home I found that I have a
total of 200 GB disks which I need to back (the minimum backup stuff that I
need to backup is about 60GB)..

So, I was looking for a way to make a backup...

* SCSI Tape backup - very expensive, and the amount that I have to backup
(even the 60GB minimum) will require me to invest some serious money in
tapes, money that I cannot afford right now.

* A big hard disk - today, an IBM 60GB disk costs $260, but using it as a
backup doesn't seems to me as a good idea. Besides, what do I do when I need
to backup 100GB? buy more hard disks?

* CD-R - the media is very cheap and it's it's pretty reliable for home use
(not reliable as DAT tapes, but still, enough for my use). The problem - I
cannot find a single program which can use my CD-R and requests to replace
discs, knows to do 2:1 compression etc...

Suggestions?

Thanks,
Hetz
