| As much as I understood, and that was years ago already, the dial-up
| customers are really an unprofitable business. The ISPs are trying to
| earn from other operations, such as content providing, or maybe
| business customers, and are only keeping dial-up customers to keep

If that is true which I honestly don't believe it is it's bezeq/govermenet
fault for over pricing for connecting to the backbone and for using
bezeq's Tashtit.
see how 012 can reduce prices.
| As to ISPs all over the world, where, except for the US (kindom of
| backbones) do you get high speeds?
Almost all west europe including norway finland and so
most big cities in australlia. and so on.
| BTW, as I heard from a guy working in the industry, the ADSL modems
| also cost a lot, and Bezeq certainly isn't overcharging for them.
Again the question is why it cost so much?taxes?lousy supliers?
don't forget this service is giving all over the world if it was that
expensive and not worth it it wouldn't catch so fast
