Well, I it for sure wasn't MDK8.0 files since I d/l'ed them from
ftp.kde.org/pub/..../2.1/..../Mandrake/7.2/...
(the exact URL was on the list some mails earlier today).

I didn't check wiping my config (~/.kde), I'll try this maybe.
Luckily I did a backup before installing the update :-)

But, did ANYBODY succeed in upgrading MDK7.2 to KDE2.1 ?? If yes, how ?
