Hi list.

I have some problems with my Apache (1.3.14 with all the normal stuff).
I wrote a perl script that creates a data file, and then writes something
to it and closes the file. this script is sitting in my home directory's
public_html and it owned by me. now when I try to access it
(http://server/~oded/script.pl), it runs correctly, but looking at the
directory, I see that the file is created, but nothing is being written to
it.
looking at the premissions I see that it is created with a 644
premissions, and is owned by me (when the apache server is running as user
apache). 'ps'ing and looking for the script, I see that it is being
executed as the user 'oded'. this could be explained by suExec, but I have
no idea how it can create the file, but not write to it. any ideas ?

And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.
