Hello All

I've just d/led glib 1.3.2, pango, and gtk 1.3.2, and installed them.
gtk 1.3.2 comes with some test programs to show the new features-
'gtktest', 'testtext', and some more. These programs support pango, and:
1. when it notices that my $LANG=hebrew (or the other environment
variables for this purpose), it automatticly makes everything ALIGNED to
the right - NOTICE: this is a new feature which wasn't included yet in any
linux library, as far as I know. It's very nice.

2. In text fields all the languages can be typed together, including
english, hebrew, arabic, japanese and some more.. the 'testtext' program
gives an example for it- a multiline text box containing texts in lots of
languages.. It really impressed me.

if you are interested about how it looks,
http://www.pango.org/gallery.shtml .
(Altough there are not too many hebrew examples..)

The future of the hebrew implementation under linux (or more correct- on
x), looks good.. I guess that QT3 will be pretty similar.

Cya,
Oren.
