ales :( there where no detail in the web how one should use the compact flavor
from cd or when it is loaded from 1.44 how to load the drivers :(
The compact flavor suppose to support strange rare drivers like DAC960 but at
least i couldn't achieve it with debian nor Redhat
My solution was ( Red Hat System 7.0 ) I 'dd' the boot.img on a 1.44 and then
compiled a kernel locally, that support the DAC960 which i copied onto the
original installation disk.
after successful installation i done the same to the boot disk so i will be able
to access it :)
Hope it will help someone in the future .
tip: don forget ramdrive option in the kernel :)
