I believe this would still fit into a floppy. You would need to
format it for higher capacity, though.
See the installation script of Toms Root-Boot http://www.toms.net/rb if
you need a sample of such usage (I forgot the syntax...). It uses a 1720kb
format.
You should make sure that your floppy drive is able to read such a floppy,
though.
