We have an ISDN (128k) videophone at work. Usually we supplement the
video with a regular audio call on a speakerphone. If the camera is
focused on the persons lips and they s-p-e-a-k--s-l-o-w-l-y you might be
able to read their lips, but don't expect to watch a speaker at a podium
and do it.

The image being digital is always sharp and clear (depending upon the
focus of the camera). If the viewing are is too big, or the action too
fast (such as a fast pan around the room), it just becomes jerky.. ... ....

I knew that Crowley said that "Do what thou wilt is the whole of the law",
but I never thought it applied to the US Supreme Court.
