as u see i use now widoze... can't install linux on
my drive :-[
hell, and i thought i knew how to deal with installation... here's the specs: i use cuv4x asus board, seagate (some st84xxxxx model) 8.4gb hd [connected as slave to primary, the hd is jumpered to be a slave] ata66/33 ide controller here's the bg:
i tried to install: rh6.2,7.0, debian
[potato],
mandrake7.0->1 ....cd/bootdisk, then: slackware 7.1 (this is the only 1 that has a bootdisk called ata66.i , though it's beta) the partitioning was ok, but after that, during the creation of fstab in all of them i got a big page of mem
