It could be a good argument that we are starting. wine api functions to
write to the screen (GDI32 and GDI) are emulated. That means even the text
writing functions are emulated from linux. I dont know if it renders the
text it self or just calles the xfs to write the text itself. I think it's
the second. Because as far as I know wine just calls xwindows functions
whenever it can to do ms-windows stuff.

Ant way, nor wine nor x-windows can write text from write to left. They both
can start writing FROM the right (right justified visual hebrew for
example), but can not start writing the words from the right and. They do
not support LOGICAL hebrew.

The story could be different if word uses a special DLL for writing the text
on the screen (which I dont think it does). Maybe thats why it crashed
every time I started msword??? I my self like better the earlier versions of
WINE. I could run on it winamp (it worked better then xmms/xamp), acdsee and
even... yes explorer.exe, i could see my windows desktop and then wine
crahsed.
