Hello,
I have to following problem with pppd :
I use ezPPP to connect to my ISP and netscape as a
browser.
Wile I'm loged as root everything is working fine but
when I'm loged as a normal user netscape is unable to
use pppd. ezppp connects and seams to be OK, netscape
is running but it doesn't find web pages. It's as if
they do not talk to each other. In order to correct it
I have to su then run both ezpp and netscape as su.
I guess that it has to do with permissions but I cant
find any permissions settings which cause it to work.
I have changed pppd to 777 mode which no change and
even played with the sticky bit but nothing helped.
Any ideas ?
