I guess the above page is some sort of a "bdichat keresh", but it doesn't
really answer the question... Does anybody remember the real story on when
and why the penguin was chosen? If I remember correctly, the 0.99 and/or
1 versions of the kernel had a shark for a logo, not a penguin.

If somebody knows the real story, we'll be happy to hear it.
