resolving and Liuxconf

Hi...

my linuxconf takes 1.5 minutes or so to load in text mode, could it have
anything to do with resolving issues??
is there anyway to get around it?

(Redhat 6.2 - 3 NIC's - 1GB RAM - Dual CPU Intel running on Intel
Lancewood Mother Board)
