You need to create a file called .htaccess in the directory you wanna
protect.
I don't remember the exact syntax of the file , but you should find many
examples on the net.
htpasswd is used to create the password file used by .htaccess AFAIK
it's recommended to put the password file outside of the htdoc dir.
Oh , I just remembered - lookup apache auth on www.webmonkey.com i think
i saw a tutorial there once.
