hi i'v just recently got connected to the adsl experiment. recieved an ORCKIT adsl modem and a CNET NIC. everything works fine under win98, but when trying to connect under linux (Mandrake 7.1, following the ADSL-HOWTO-BEZEQ ) it apperantly starts connecting and then dies with either "pppd : LCP terminated by peer" or "pppd : LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests" could somebody please give me some ideas on what could be wrong ? what is tehre supposed to be in the /etc/ppp/options file ? thanks in advance. p.s. again sorry about the multiple posts. had some problems subscribing to the list ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
