you need an internal named pointing at the exchange as the main MX, or
set a rule in sendmail. personally I think it's easier to do in Qmail,
which is better for firewalls too.

now that's a contradiction. you just said you wanted to relay, now you
said the linux should deliver and  also serve pop or IMAP. that defies
the definition of a firewall, now doesn't it? I sugest you put a port
redirector on the firewall so people can use the pop server on the
exchange.
