Hi I need a terminal emulator that can display 7bit hebrew. I don't need any right-to-left cursor support (though it would be nice to have). 6 Monthes ago I patched the java-telnet application (I think it's GNU software now) to do that, but I can't limit myself to Netscape anymore (an outside JVM doesn't count -- too slow for an emulator, and besides - I have the fact that I have to mess with font.properties every time I upgrade). However, I would still like a pre-made solution. If that doesn't come along, then maybe I'll patch some other emulator (gnome-libs' Zvt class ??) but I don't belive someone would include such a patch into the mainstream project ("...you can't read lowercase English and Hebrew on the same page?..."). Maybe I'll make a Type1 font that has Hebrew characters beginning at 0x60. Did someone run into such an emulator?
