I'm not going to repeat it, but the second option I wrote was a shell
script that inserted the information in the files and made the connection
"on the fly". If your password is good for at least a minute, you should
have no trouble using it.
To recap, I set up skeleton files for the pppd daemon, and in a shell script
add userid, phone number and password before dialing out with ppd. If it's
only the password you need, the script becomes much simpler.
