I had to change all my ips in all my servers etc...
So the first computer i attend was one of my Linux (RH6.0 i386).
I said what's the hack ill use the linuxconf and ill have an easy life.
after I configured it and activated the server very strange started to
occur.
the major one of them is when i logoin to the computer as a user, root
,etc and don't ask me for the password, its just throw me in to bash.
I went as quickly as possible back to the linuxconf and checked what did
I changed but i didn't changed any thing that suppose to make such
strange behavior.
the only thing that i changed was the ip,mask,dns,gateway.
I reviewed the pam files to see if something seems strange and they
seems to be all right.
I checked the lilo if its start me as single user and it don't, I even
rebooted with hope that this will be fixed.
Nothing helped.
Any ideas what its could be ?
one thing I learned today, never use linuxconf :-(
