Watch your language, please.
If you have no sound, you are probably running EsounD which
grabs the system's sound input/output devices, so you'll have
to run Netscape with special emulation libraries.
Try adding:
export LD_PRELOAD='/usr/lib/libesddsp.so /usr/lib/libesd.so'
to the beginning of your /usr/bin/netscape.
