If you select Hebrew language at the beginning of the install - you'll
get (almost) full Hebrew menus, BUT - try to open a terminal session
(konsole) - won't work.. (something with font error) - so if you're
planning to use Mandrake 7.1 and KDE - select english for now - or - KDE
with hebrew but with other terminal program.
Also, they're upgrade is weird one. From what I got used to in redhat,
you select the upgrade, and thats it - it looks what RPM's you got and
it updates them. Not here - here it will let you select if you want a
partial install or full install - regardless if you selected Upgrade or
install..
Users who connect their machine to the net with KISDN - stay away from
Mandrake 7.1! I tried few versions of KISDN on it - and it doesn't
work.. (you'll also need to install few more RPM's manually).
You have an option to go by LILO or GURB. What the hell is this gurb
thing? looks like a monster script language when all the person wants -
is to select boot method...
