it's not THAT bad if you are connected online with a PTP or a wide line
at work. a cow-orker of mine burns CDs at work with a CD-R he brought
from home (nothing as positive as Linux distros though).

myself, I DL it to my home machine (but I do have a Frame Relay) and
burn it right there. I disassemble and reassemble CD images, and it's no
sweat, certainly doesn't require a seperate machine!

yap, I wish there was a reliable source like that. I attempted to do
this once, but it's hard to keep profitable.
