it is good if you have one filesystem because dump backups only one filesystem
also note that dump works only on ext2 fs and 'it is advised' not to
backup a filesystem
while it is being written on ( though I didn't find it as a problem
)
note that I do not know if it is good to dump a filesystem to a file
on the same filesystem ...
