Hello,
I would suggest a GUI front end for the programs cdrecord/mkisofs.
I am using such the Gnome 'gtoaster' utility.
Please note that cdrecord will write to the CD in the format of
iso9660 that is used by CD Recordable and not in the UDF format that
is used by CD ReWritable.
