Xkb layout can be reloaded into X with a config file
containing something like:
xkb_keymap {
Xkb_Keycodes { include "xfree86" };
Xkb_Geometry { include "pc(pc104)" };
Xkb_Types { include "default" };
Xkb_Compat { include "default" };
Xkb_Symbols { include "us(pc104)+he+group(shift_alt_toggle)" };
};
and:
xkbcomp config :0.0
(to compile them directly into the server)
