Well, hi everybody,

Just to give you some idea on what happened:
19 people registered. we asked for a room for 40 people. we had about
100-120 people. we moved to a bigger room (156 chairs). needed to adjust
the view for the new screen, find network (again - dhcp, apperently only
few sockets were really connected), find microphone.

This is the short story. the long story: many people wanted to know what
linux is, Hard for me to believe they all come again, as some were
surprised by the low level lecture (which was introduction...). most of
them never knew this is going to be a series (weird though, the ads I put
said it very clearly), and thought this was the lecture they want. so
besside of the mess with people, we end up with 65 people sitting and
watching KDE applications and basic Linux (X-windows flavours) usage.

Benny was great, talking about Linux (and asking Tzafrir to demonstrate in
the background many things). Thank you both.

The good news, is that it appeared that more than one of them installed
Linux on his home box. the better news that more of them are willing to do
so. the abd news, that we still lack a lecturer for the lecture with modem
configuration. EVERYBODY, I beg you to see if you can give the lecture, we
will do our best if no one will come forward, but why to make such a bad
impression? 100 people need you...

By the way, I really hope that someone from T.A. area will start a series
also, and even Jerusalem... I'm willing to come and give lectures about
topics I know (especially in exchange to a modem configuration lecture...
noticed how much we really need that?).
