I know that this is a problematical subject and that many people have worked hard to try and solve it. But, since the work has been done, it's a shame that the instructions on the IGLU site are not clear enough to help people enjoy the fruits of this labour. I'm sure Eli Marmor's fonts are great. In fact I saw his Hebrew version of Netscape many months ago and was impressed (although I personally prefer an English interface with only Hebrew enabled fonts - but that's a matter of taste). But I didn't chose the IOL link for no reason. Here's what it says on the site: the best solution is to install support for true-type fonts. see the following link for some iinstructions: http://www2.iol.co.il/communities/Linux/include/articles/21509.asp (TODO: give those istructions, or better ones, here) So I went to the **best solution**. The fact that I gave up is really because, at the moment, Hebrew is not my highest priority as I'm sure you realize from my previous messages. I suppose I eventually would have gotten to Eli Marmor's fonts and I certainly will when I get the rest of my problems solved. BTW - again, I don't mean any insult, but in 5 minutes on the IGLU site I found 2 broken links and I assume there may be more. So whoever is maintaining the page should check the following: 1 - On http://www.linux.org.il/faq/cache/48.html the link to www.linux.org.il/links.html is broken. 2 - The link given in the Welcome to the List message is http://www.linux.org.il/linux-il-faq.html but it's broken. That makes a bad first impression. ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
