Hi,

A while ago, someone here complained about Mandrake having removed the
HOWTOs from the distro. While I agree that they are useful, I guess
they **needed** the space on the CD for more **goodies**. So, if people
haven't already thought of this before, here's my solution. After
installing, Mandrake 7.0, I copied the /doc directory from a RedHat 6.0
CD into a new directory that I created under /usr/doc. It only takes up
about 16 Mega and I'm sure that most of the HOWTOs are not much
different than the latest versions.

BTW, you even get a RH manual and a RH getting started book which are
quite good (at least for a newbie).
