Maybe there's still renegades which are not ready to surrender to the
Great Power of Lisp. In fact, any scripting that is based on Lisp is
unusable for me, and also is unusable for any un-indoctrinated person. No
sane person can understand why it's better to write (let a (plus b c))
than a=b+c. Unless, obviously, he's enliighnened by The Greap Power of
you know what, which somehow about 99% of people aren't... Lisp is unhuman
language, which contradicts everything you know about the real world.
Maybe it's very efficient and structurally rigid, but you need scripting
language to be *easy* and *user-oriented*!

O>> Use of 2-layer design is highly appreciated in software engineering.

Emacs is maintainable? Good joke. I fear to touch any single bit there,
and belive me, I've programmed very complex things, and have expirience in
the field.

I'd be really uncomfortable if I'd be forced to share computer with Lisp.
At least if I'd be forced to know about it.

I'd rather use Visual Basic. And I'm serious - I seriously regard effort
spent on adjusting to Visual Basic programming model to be much less that
on adjusting to Lisp model. I tried both. I could manage to write Word
macros long ago, and I still cannot manage to write Emacs macros -
requires too much effort to justify it.
