>From Gizmoz's Terms of service:
11. Use of user's data
>From time to time, we may make our database of user information available -
on an aggregated basis - to other parties for promotions of and
solicitations for their goods or services that may be of interest to the
gizmoz.com community. Our site sometimes requires users to give us contact
information (such as their name and e-mail address). We use customer contact
information to send the user information about our company and promotional
material from some of our partners. The customer's contact information is
also used to contact the visitor when necessary.
Personally I wouldn't work for a company who makes money by selling email
addresses to spammers, but YMMV.
(I would also like to see the day when companies learn not to send the same
message twice)
