the xfs that comes with Mandrake 7 is supposed to know ttf. apperently
so should the XFree server itself, internally. yet every time I add
the 2 directories of truetypes (I use Globes for the web and all) they
are ignored, oth by the xfs and the XFree itself (I try either one
seperately, or a combo or whatever). after X is up, an xset +fp does add
those fonts retroactively... this didn't use to happen on my old system,
when I ran the seperately-distributed xfstt.
ideas are welcome...
