I'm assuming all the people who didn't see me post the list's address
the last 6-7 times simply don't read this list, I warn you now it will
be a waste of your time to subscribe in such a case, as iglu@egroups is
for LUG activities (note the ACT in activities) and less for lurkers.
We're trying to freshen up things, not drag on with the current passive
state of the old linux-il list.
I'm really sorry if I my views are a bit agressive in that matter, but
believe me it is only because I care. My main reason for opening the new
list is to see if anyone else cares about being more than just a mailing
list, and turn into a real LUG. so far I had really weird antagonist
reactions from people about this, and there's really no reason.
Unless someone here thinks there's reason to ACTIVELY keep linux a
gurus-only "kuryoz" and ignore the newbies and interested journalists. I
can't think of a reason why that should be, although from my off-list
chats with some people it seems this view exists (if not popular).
so, if you people indeed care so much on keeping linux in the closet
here, please tell us all what are the reasons? (and those parties know
who they are)
