i too, am trying to use samba to validate user's on other win pc's.
i read the entire o'reilly book and some online papers, but could
not manage to make the server to do the user logins.
i got (in log.nmb):
[1999/12/25 15:20:37, 3] nmbd/nmbd_processlogon.c:process_logon_packet(61)
process_logon_packet: Logon packet received from IP 192.168.1.2 and
domain logons are not enabled.
but in /etc/smb.conf domain logons are enabled !!!
anyone ??
