1. I want to use protocol analyzer for monitoring my network
and I want to know where can I find resources about
how to analyze and how to read to Protocol analyzer results
does any one use or know where to find a good and a beginner oriented
book ,sites ,etc
2.does Linux have a protocol analyzer (besides ethereal ) ?
for now I have some information about Shomiti explorer and shomiti
surveyor 3.0
and also NetXray . are they good ? does Nt have a know problems with these
tools ?
is the OS an issue here ?
3.price is not an issue ! just technical parameters are to be consider .
