I don't that security is off-topic on this list.
But I think that mindlessly reproducing material from other mailing
lists is not very productive.
What about kernel release announcements? Release news of popular new Linux
software? Gatewaying the various Linux newsgroups here? They're all ``part
of Linux'' but dumping all those sources here would swamp the mailing list
to the point of uselessness.
The fact that this mailing list is about Linux does not mean everything
about Linux should be dumped here.
