I am looking for a full-time Linux system administrator++. The job
entails:
1. Maintanence of about 50 networked linux computers, including
installlation, and upgrading of the OS, as well as network monitoring
and optimization
of servers.
2. Installation, and maintenance of various software packages (usually
Open Source), such as Compilers, Libraries, etc.
3. Evaluation of new hardware, i.e. the latest CPUs, Video cards. (You
need to be updated continuously as to latest drivers availability, for
example)
Depending on your abilities the following may also be relevant:
4. Package management (releases) of software related to our projects
5. Writing device-drivers for hardware cards created here.
