I personally use sslwrap (http://www.rickk.com/sslwrap),
and have never heard of SSLPop. However, what do you need it for?
Most commercial mail messaging servers (Exchange, Lotus Notes
are the ones I know of) support SSL encrypted POP. If you're
using something else, either tunnel it through SSH (obviously
more work if you have Win-clients, they need SSH on their side
as well) or thru stunnel/sslwrap/whatever. If you just want to encrypt
passwords, qpopper supports apop.
Small note: Netscape Messenger only supports IMAP over SSL,
not POP3. That's a real shame - it's a nice mail client,
but it's IMAP support is not that great (it often decides
to give up in the middle of a 2MB file, leaving the lock
file where it's at...fah).
