Hi list. I'm going to run a NIS server and clients on my LAN. As you probably know NIS is not secure almost at all. If anyone has any idea how to make it more secure pls tell me. (Running a NIS+ is not much of a sulotion...) I think to put the NIS daemon in the inetd.conf and to use the hosts.allow/deny in order to increase the security.
