I now managed to get both

>rpm -bc /usr/src/redhat/SPECS/mailx.spec

and

>rpm -bi /usr/src/redhat/SPECS/mailx.spec

to execute without errors.

But

>/var/tmp/mailx-root/bin/mail

is identical to

>/bin/mail

What am I missing _now_?
