This is probably a stupid question, but I'm a bit lost. I need
SCSI-ATAPI support for my new ide CDRW. I read the CD-Writing-HOWTO,
the Kernel-HOWTO, the SCSI-HOWTO and I think I know in **theory**
what I have to do. I know the sources are in /usr/src/linux but I've
never compiled a Kernel before, and despite the theoretical
knowledge, I'm not sure where to start. I need either step-by-step
instructions or someone who is willing to **hold my hand** while I go
through the process.

BTW - I'm using RedHat 6.0

TIA
