Dear Friends,
After considerable time spent with the store technicians (Renaissance, Kfar
Sava) and the Netvision Linux support personnel, we have reached the
conclusion
that my system is unable to RESOLVE internet addresses. I connect
satisfactorily to the ISP, but nothing works after that, unless I key in
the number URL. With the numbers, it works well, but with human language ...
nothing. Same for mail. What must be done to teach the system to RESOLVE the
addresses?
TIA,
Avraham Hanadari
Hod Hasharon
I am running a Pentium 133 with 32 M RAM, and a 6 GB HD, 4 for Win98 (with
Hebrew support) and 2 for Linux. The Linux distribution is SuSE 6.2, Kernel
2.2.10, using KDE 1.1.1 desktop and utilities in X-Windows XFree86TM 3.3.4,
access via LILO.
