ill try to brun a few cd's for my local jerusaleming gang, any one that
wan't the cd here should ask me for it. (we are going to buy 0.69$ cds in

EIM has a really good scsi cd-r on sale. i work at a computer sotre and we
buy it for 250~$ (it changes..) its a cdr only (no cdrw) x24x6 scsi cdr with
a scsi card included. about linux support, ill have to the scsi card
manufacture site, or drivers database.

I know a guy that said he burned 1000 cds on a IDE cdr. he sais that almost
250 cds were demolished during transfer rate failures he has a P233 32MB and
4.3 GB WD UDMA HD.
I have the same machine with an scsi cdrom (adaptec scsi card) and i only
wasted 5 cds ever!

CDRW are less compatible with old cdrom drives then normal cdrs, so people
say.. i hadn't any cdrw except once, and that was a CDRW that came with the
cdr drive :). the cheapest CDRW cd you can find should cost 10~$ and normal
x4-x6 cdrs with no brand name should cost about 70$ for 100 cds in a
spindle.
