Hi.
I have a $100 credit at Value America (http://www.valueamerica.com - I
did absolutely nothing to get the $100 - check it out!). This will
allow me to buy a Palm V for $262, or a Palm IIIx for $236. I must use
the $100 by the end of this month. I was about to order one or the
other, when I read on CNET that the Palm Vx (8MB instead of 2MB) is
supposed to come out on 4 October, priced at $449. At the same time,
the Palm V will drop to $399, and the Palm IIIx to $299.
I, of course, want to use whatever I buy with Linux (can you actually
run Linux on one ?) - meaning downloading from my favorite appointment
software, etc.
Does anyone want to offer me any advice as far as what to buy, and how
best to use it with my home/office Linux systems ?
TIA.
