the next meeting of the haifa linux club would take place on
Thurthday, 23-sep-99, same place (room 413, CS faculty, technion - we'll
make sure the keys are available..), same time (18:00).

the topic for the lecture part would be: the PAM (pluggable authentication
modules) system in linux - from a system administrator's point of view.
we'll deal with what PAM is, how programs interact with PAM, configuring
PAM-aware programs etc. the lecture won't be a very long one this time. in
a future meeting we'll delve into writing PAM modules, and turning
programs into PAM-aware programs.

After a short break, we'll carry out a debate about ease of system
administration - linux's various distributions, vs. other unices, vs.
(gasp) win NT.

see you there,
guy
